This fall brings lots of new Springboard features focused on the administrator experience. With releases 4.18 and 4.19, we’re proud to introduce:
- Springboard Form Cloning Library
- Offsite Recurring Donations
In addition, we’re excited to give you a sneak peek of the new Springboard Knowledge Base, coming soon to a Springboard near you.
The new form cloning library helps Springboard admins by allowing them to turn any form into a “master template” for easy copying when creating future campaigns. While all forms remain available to clone, the master forms are collected in a template library for any admin to use as a starting point, promoting common configurations and best practices. This also helps to prevent form drift over time, as campaigns are copied and tweaked, and makes it simple for admins to find their most critical forms, such as a certain type of advocacy or master year-end campaign.
While many organizations choose to process their recurring donations through Springboard, one of the platform’s greatest strengths is its commitment to flexibility with payment methods and gift processing. That’s why organizations can now configure any Springboard-supported gateway to manage and process recurring donations through a third-party service.
We’re thrilled to report that our November release will feature a number of features and enhancements long under development, including the new Springboard Knowledge Base. Designed to help Springboard users of all profiles, from beginners to old-hands, the Knowledge Base features easy-to-use help articles and full-scale how-to guides for each section of the platform.
While we’ll continue to provide stellar one-on-one support, we heard Springboard clients asking for more self-service resources, and we’ve answered the call.
Other Highlights & Improvements
As always, each release includes system maintenance and infrastructure tuning for optimal performance, small improvements to the user-interface to make admins’ lives easier, and a variety of other enhancements and updates.
