We're so happy to announce that the U.S. Fund for UNICEF officially launched their gorgeous new website on April 30. We worked on this project with the incredibly talented team at UNICEF and our brilliant partner, Threespot.
We started working with UNICEF just about two years ago on a consulting project, helping to form the best digital team possible for them, and also to find ways to align their technology strategy with their renewed branding goals and focus. It was a pleasure every step of the way.
UNICEF works in over 100 countries to save and protect our world’s most vulnerable children, and they brave the challenges of war and geography to carry out their mission. Such work requires extensive fundraising and advocacy to support it, and their new website is a tailored, nimble, beautiful tool that will enable the U.S. Fund for UNICEF to more fully serve its mission.
When I sat down last week to write an email congratulating our team on the hard work they did over the course of this project, I teared up. I’m incredibly proud of the dedication put into this build, of how smoothly we worked in lock step with our partners at Threespot, and of the ability to support UNICEF’s mission with technology that will grow with their needs.
The people at the U.S. Fund for UNICEF are passionate and committed. Our friends in the digital department appreciate Jackson River's unique approach to technology and are excited by the prospect of modern tools that will extend their innovation.
I’m also happy that my Jackson River colleagues embodied our Jackson River Core Values and showed such teamwork, talent and humor. Their contributions made this one of the best project teams I’ve had the pleasure of watching work together.
UNICEF’s website is fully responsive and built in Drupal 7. It leverages Springboard 4, Jackson River’s open source fundraising and marketing platform. Springboard's features power transactions such as donations, ticketed event sales, petitions, and e-mail sign-ups on UNICEF's website.
All transactions on the website are being processed by the powerful Litle gateway, which supports EFT, advanced fraud protection, and offers a robust suite of transaction management tools. Springboard integrates seamlessly with Salesforce, which will be used as the eCRM of record, providing reporting and integration with their offline donor database. Silverpop powers sophisticated marketing automation and email.
We’re proud to be part of the UNICEF’s bright technology future, and are so thankful to be a part of helping them save the lives of children.
