We can’t wait for the NTEN Nonprofit Technology Conference this year! Not only does it mark Jackson River’s 8th birthday, but we have TWO seriously-great sessions with some of our amazing clients.

First, THE MODERN DIGITAL TEAM session with Michelle Egan from NRDC, as well as our own Alice and Misty. We surveyed the nonprofit community and unearthed real-world stories and problems that we’ll be tackling together in this interactive, workshop environment. We’ll be talking capacity-planning, management theory, and tactical approaches to ensure your digital team is staffed for effective digital communications, marketing and fundraising. Here's the link to all the details: Wednesday, March 23 10:30 - 12:00 pm
Then, in UNLEASH THE POWER OF THE PEOPLE we’ll showcase ways to use Peer to Peer tools beyond fundraising – like advocacy, list-building, and storybanking - with Megan Farrington and Kristen Millnick from the Drug Policy Alliance. We'll have useful tips for getting everyone (from your board and policy team to your loyal supporters) on board with new advocacy approaches. If you need to grow your list with highly engaged supporters and cause real policy impact, you need P2P advocacy. Here's the link: Thursday, March 24 1:30 - 3:00 pm
Of course, we have a big ol’ booth in the middle of the Exhibit Hall, and we’ll be there, ready to listen and talk about nonprofit strategy, technology tools, and avocados. We love avocados. Take a break from the madness, come sit down on our comfy chairs and relax with us for a bit.
Finally, we will be hosting the Jackson River birthday party on Wednesday night! If you want an invite, drop me a line or come see us in the booth. I’ll be there with Alice, Misty, Jennie, Jenn and Tom, and I’d love to meet you!
