Bay Trash Hotspots 2010

Today, Save The Bay launched their 5th annual Bay Trash Hot Spots campaign. This year, Save The Bay highlights 225 creeks and shorelines areas in the San Francisco Bay area that have toxic levels of refuse.

Their new website, designed by Free Range Studios, features interactive maps showcasing the 225 hot spots and encourages visitors to vote on a site for Save The Bay to adopt and clean up.

Jackson River leveraged Save The Bay’s existing Drupal and Springboard functionality, along with Google Fusion tables, to power their interactive map and voting forms. Another great project in Jackson River’s ongoing work with Save The Bay.
