Our mission is to support and strengthen influential non-profits, socially responsible businesses, cause-based initiatives, and progressive foundations by enhancing the effectiveness of their mission, people, process, and technology. We only work with organizations that share our beliefs, so we have to know exactly what we stand for.

People are more important.

By choice, Jackson River is a small company. An engagement with Jackson River always includes our principles as primary contacts. We prefer to work as extensions of your own staff, and view ourselves as more than consultants or advisors, but as true partners – committed not only to your mission, but to achieving measurable results and getting things done.

Love what you do.

Our mission is to make good organizations better. We do it via technology and efficiency consulting, but it's really about getting to know your organization, learning about your vision, goals, and how you function, and then figuring out how we can streamline and improve what you’re already doing. We love tackling these big challenges, and nothing is better than seeing a organization we’ve worked with succeed in their mission.

Live green.

We work to keep our carbon footprint small. Our virtual office eliminates daily commutes and cuts out energy costs associated with maintaining a work space, and we make our best effort to use public transportation when visiting our clients. For the times when we don’t have a green option, we purchase carbon offsets from Native Energy. Every little bit helps.

Work for the public good.

Jackson River works with organizations whose missions help further the well-being of all people, whether it’s protecting civil rights at home and abroad, fighting environmental destruction, organizing workers, improving public education, preserving religious culture, or promoting gender equality in sports and society. We also believe that to be good citizens of the world, we need to give back. To that end, Jackson River chooses an annual cause and donates our services pro-bono to a worthy organization in the field.
